Influenza & Pneumonia Vaccine
In accordance with the Department of Health guidelines, we recommend an annual influenza vaccination for patients with diabetes, heart, lung and kidney disease, residents of nursing homes and all patients over the age of 65. Vaccinations are normally available from October, please contact the practice for an appointment. We also recommend that, where appropriate, patients over the age of 65 have a pneumonia vaccination.
Travel Advice
At least two months before departure you should make an appointment to see the nurse who will discuss and administer any recommended vaccinations.Certain vaccinations are chargeable so please ask the receptionist when booking the appointment. For urgent travel arrangements you may need to contact a private healthcare centre. More information is available on the above tab.
Cervical Screening
It is important for women to have regular screening. If you are between 24 years 6 months - 65 years of age and have not had a test within the past 5 years please contact the surgery to make an appointment.
