When We Are Closed

The practice is a member of the West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group who is responsible for commissioning the out-of-hours service. To access this service patients should dial the usual surgery number (01992 579270) and you will be transferred directly to the out-of-hours service.

NHS 111 can help if you have an urgent medical problem and you’re not sure what to do. To find out more about the help that NHS 111 can provide, click here.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor, and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Go immediately to the nearest Accident and Emergency Department only if someone is unconscious, bleeding heavily, has chest pains, difficulty breathing or suspected broken bones.
